The operational benefits of using The De-Fence System for temporary security fencing
How does the De-Fence System work?
The De-Fence system is a self supporting modular temporary fencing system with interlocking welded wire mesh panels. The system’s design incorporates unique anti-climb barriers when coupled with engaged security personnel provides a cost effective multi layered barrier to unauthorized entry.

Current fencing models provide mere demarcation lines in crowd control situations and due to their light weight and often flimsy securing to their base, can often be found blown over, damaged and bent after a slight storm.
The De-Fence system consists of parallel front and rear panels. The panels are connected by a round-based system which forms a 2.4m wide dry moat between the panels. Each panel is topped with rolling spikes or rollers, which, when engaged spin independently. The whole system is interlocked forming a homogeneous fencing system which can be supported by security operatives patrolling the moat.
The interlocking system, which can be manually erected provides a solid structure capable of resisting forces from crowd surge. Provides a solid structure capable of resisting forces from crowd surge. It is quickly erected and dismantled to reduce impacts on business continuity. The system also has the ability to resist vehicle attack in places of mass gathering. Additional supports can be placed within the system to enhance security against threats of this type.

The De-Fence system is an ideal temporary fencing barrier to manage crowds and to provide division of spaces and asset security to places of mass gathering (including law enforcement applications).
The anti-surge, anti-climb feature of the De-Fence system provides for the cost effective deployment of security operatives. The number of managing operatives required, compared with competing systems is greatly reduced to provide a cost effective security solution.
The De-Fence system is designed and manufactured to comply with the engineering requirements of Australian Standard AS 4687-2007; “Temporary fencing and hoardings”.
The system is easily transportable to any location by truck for easy and quick erection and dismantling. The system is able to seamlessly fit into a standard 8ft wide sea container for international transportation.
All components are robust and hot dip galvanized for long life and multiple use cycles.

The system provides for an effective response to security threats such as unaurhorised entry, theft and behicle attack at places of mass gathering. It combines the use of a solid structure when engaged to support the safety of managing operatives. The number of managing operatives required compared with competing systems is greatly reduced to provide a cost effective high security operation.
